Note: Accepted papers will be published in the ICOBE 2023 Proceedings in the AIP Conference Proceedings (Scopus-indexed). Selected papers will be submitted for consideration of publication in Web of Science/Scopus-indexed journals (with an additional fee (if any)).

Initial Paper Submission Guidelines

Listed below are several important requirements for preparing and submitting a manuscript to ICOBE 2023. Failure to abide by the following requirements when preparing your manuscripts may result in desk rejection of the manuscript:

1. Submissions must be original (with a similarity index less than 30%), written in English, and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for ICOBE 2023.
2. Papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format following the guidelines for authors and Microsoft Word and LaTeX templates available at AIP Conference Proceedings. No modifications to the templates are permitted. Manuscripts should have a minimum of 4 pages (no upper page limit). They should be submitted through the UniMAP Conference Portal (authors need to register an account for submission). The papers will be evaluated by at least two reviewers and the technical programme committee for inclusion in the scientific programme of ICOBE 2023.

Final Camera-Ready Paper Submission Guidelines

1. The authors of the accepted papers must upload their final camera-ready manuscripts that have been improved based on reviewers’ comments by the deadline in the UniMAP Conference Portal.
2. AIP Conference Proceedings uses author-prepared PDFs for all published contents and will not send out author proofs prior to publication. Therefore, it is important to ensure that the camera-ready manuscript for accepted papers is submitted in its final form and that all fonts are embedded following the guidelines for authors and Microsoft Word and LaTeX templates to enable rapid publication. Further instructions will be sent out via emails to the authors of the selected papers for journal publication.
3. At least one of the authors listed in the accepted papers must register, attend and present the paper (either physically or virtually) at the conference according to the conference’s schedule.
