Visa Information
No visa is required for a stay of less than one month for U.S.A. citizens and nationals of all ASEAN countries except Myanmar nationals. For a stay exceeding one month, a visa will be required, except for Brunei and Singapore nationals. Please note, visitors must be in possession of a valid passport or travel document with a minimum validity of six months beyond the intended visiting period.
Citizens from the following counties are legally required to hold a valid visa to travel to Malaysia:

Citizens are advised to apply and obtain appropriate visas from the nearest Malaysian Representative Office nearest to their Countries of residence before entry into Malaysia. Early application is advisable to avoid delay.

Please note: Countries marked as ( * ) are only allowed to enter Malaysia by air.
For nationals of Israel (**), visas are required and permission must be granted from the Ministry of Home Affairs. The requirements include:

  • CV of each delegates;
  • Copies of passport (some may hold 2 passports, to give the copy of actual passport to be used for travelling to Malaysia).
